Founded in 2002, INWOLE is a cultural association based at the Project House Potsdam-Babelsberg, where it operates seminar spaces, workshops in carpentry, pottery, textiles, and recycling and artist in residencies. Focused on adult and youth education, as well as arts and culture, INWOLE specializes in political and cultural education and sustainable development, emphasizing self-organization, co-housing, and solidarity-based economies.
Project House Potsdam-Babelsberg, a well-known co-housing project in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, along with INWOLE, advises and supports communities in Germany and abroad in establishing social spaces, co-housing projects, and developing governance structures. As a member of the Mieshäuser Syndikat, Project House promotes co- housing models.
INWOLE works with two spaces for TiSp – a wooden trailer on the grounds of Project House and a Tiny House created by and in cooperation with architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel, from Tiny Foundation, Berlin. The residences at INWOLE focus on art and co-housing, as well as art in public space.
