On July 24 at 6 PM, Projekthaus Potsdam (Rudolf-Breitscheid-Str. 166, 14482 Potsdam) invites you to a public evening event as part of the international residency program Tiny Spaces – Deep Connections. Together, we’ll explore how artist residencies can be reimagined in times of ecological and social transformation: How can travel become more sustainable—and what artistic potential lies in the act of traveling itself? As hosts, we will introduce the context of the program, present the new Open Call for the 2026 residency, and share a preview of the upcoming symposium in Oulu (Finland), part of the European Capital of Culture 2026. The current artists-in-residence, Eleni Charcharidou (Greece) and Emma Aarflot (Sweden), will present insights into their creative processes and outcomes. Afterwards, guests are invited to explore the two Tiny Spaces on-site—including the Tiny House New Work by Van Bo Le-Mentzel—followed by music, a garden barbecue, and open conversations. A guided tour will also be offered through the Projekthaus, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Everyone is welcome!
